Enrico Casari

Enrico Casari, a tenor from Verona, studied at the Conservatory of his hometown and earned a degree in Musicology from the University of Pavia. He refined his vocal training with Vicentini, Vinco, and Lowe. After his 2006 debut in Mozart’s Bastiano e Bastiana, he won the “Rinaldo Pelizzoni” Competition and joined the Opera Studios of the Vlaamse Opera and the Opéra National du Rhin. Since 2010, he has pursued an international career, singing in major venues including La Fenice, Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. He has collaborated with Robert Carsen in Věc Makropulos, Kát’a Kabanová, Ariodante, Salome, and Osud. He recorded Fedora for Deutsche Grammophon alongside Angela Gheorghiu and Plácido Domingo. Notable highlights include his debut in the leading role of Janáček’s Osud at the Janáček Brno International Festival and the world premiere of Battistelli’s Le baruffe, directed by Damiano Michieletto.
